50% off sale FRI-FEB-03

Snaggle Discography.JPG

All day THIS FRI-FEB-03 Bandcamp is going to be donating their share of any sales that happen on their platform to the American Civil Liberties Union, who are working to oppose last week’s Executive Order barring immigrants and refugees from seven Middle Eastern countries from entering the United States. Click here to read Bandcamp’s position on the matter.

We are in absolute agreement with Bandcamp, so to lend our support in the fight against the divisive and hateful politics of the new American government we’re placing our entire discography at 50% off THIS FRIDAY ONLY

Christmas Single Release Show!

Christmas Single Release Poster_ONLINE.jpg

We’re releasing our brand new Holiday Season single “Christmas Tune” at Toronto’s May Cafe on Sun-Dec-11, 8pm! Far from being a typical Holiday Season release, “Christmas tune” is a commentary on some of the defining characteristics of modern commercial Christmas music, much of which are written in major keys, and drenched in so much saccharin that it red-lines the “happy-happy” meter. Instead, our bandleader Nick Maclean’s composition presents an antithesis to that Holiday writing approach — an eclectic and multifaceted exploration of the full spectrum of human emotion. This performance will feature label exec and “Canada’s preeminent jazz trumpet player” (NYC Village Voice) Brownman Ali, and will include a cross-section of the entire “The Long Slog” recording for those that missed the Oct CD Release making this a night of funkified electric-jazz audiences will not want to miss!

“… SNAGGLE is most impressive!  The music on Long Slog is very, very challenging, yet groovy, soulful & exploratory at the same time…. Extremely well performed, written and executed.  Reminds me of a band I used to play in!”

– Randy Brecker, multi-Grammy winning trumpet legend
