Monarch’s Pub

snaggle at monarchsOn June 17th Snaggle will once again be bringing their brash sound back to Monarch’s Pub. Snaggle is a 6 piece funk-fusion ensemble that takes influences from Snarky Puppy, Miles Davis and everything in between. This ensemble juxtaposes gentle melodies with hard funk and ties it all together with some creative and exciting improvisation. So make sure you don’t miss it, 7:00pm, no cover!

Snaggle is a 6 piece funk-fusion ensemble that takes influences from Snarky Puppy, Miles Davis and everything in between. This ensemble juxtaposes gentle melodies with hard funk and ties it all together with some creative and exciting improvisation. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Brown (his full bio’s below) — he is an incredibly accomplished trumpet player, musician & composer and when he’s not touring the world with the titans of the music industry (Jay-z, Paul Simon, Dave Matthews Band to name only a few) he’s got some killer projects on the go including our favorite – the BROWNMAN ELECTRYC TRIO. So make sure you don’t miss it, 8:00pm, $10 cover!

This all-star line up of players, including the fastest drummer in the entire world, have all studied with many of Canada’s greatest jazz masters and represent the next generation of Canadian talent.
